Senior Security Agent

As a Senior Security Agent, you will monitor flights and inspect passenger travel documents for possible inadmissible passengers travelling to Emirates Locations network wide in order to reduce the liabililty of fines imposed by various countries around the world. To carry out such security duties as directed by the Security Management such as Check-in counter surveillances for discrepancies, mishandled baggage, provide escort to deportees,etc.

In This Role, You Will

 Assesses information in inadmissible passengers from intelligence reports received from Security Officer, and coordinates necessary action with the coordinators such as checks on high risk flight, PNR, checks to locate such common names as mentioned in the intelligence bulletin, identify need for the strength of staff on particular high risk flights, etc

 Accesses reservation systems for profiles on inadmissible passengers throughout the network and highlights the same to the Security Coordinator inorder to gauge the flight situation before proceeding for gate checks.

 Checks passenger travel documents for discrepancies such as forgeries and refers to the Security Coordinator in case of doubts where forgery is of a high quality

 Monitors movement and repatriation of inadmissible passengers making such arrangements for alternate routes, accommodation or deportation in consultation with the Consulates/Embassies.

 Undertakes such security duties as directed by Security Management such as checkin counter surveillance for excess baggage discrepancies, Ramp/MHB area spot checks for pilferages, cabin crew random checks, Adhoc checks on company accommodation for cabin crew, surveillance for any area specified by Chief of Group Security.

 Prepares reports on all such incidents where they have been involved and submits the same to the Management for further review.

Qualifications & Experience

To be considered for the role, you must meet the below requirements:

 12 Years schooling or equivalent.

 2 years experience required in an airline or security ooperation.

 Preferred knowledge of airline reservation and check-in systems.

 Knowledge of PC applications such as MS Word, Excel.

 Good command of English both oral and written.

 Should have excellent communication skills and investigate qualities with a good memory or recall of incidents.

 Should also have a high degree of confidentiality, and ability to make decisionsA high level of customer and interpersonal skills required due to sensitive nature and impact of interrogating suspect passengers and where necessary offloading them.
