We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Coordinator who will be responsible for managing and overseeing repairs in our facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maintenance and repairs and experience in managing a team. The Maintenance Supervisor will also be responsible for optimizing the facility's functionality, comfort, and efficiency.

 

Main Responsibilities

 

Responsible for all maintenance requests

Prepare weekly maintenance schedules and allocate work accordingly.

Inspect facilities periodically to determine problems and necessary maintenance.

Participate in the coordination of projects (e.g. renovations).

Ensure adherence to quality standards and health and safety regulations.

Has a solid understanding of spare parts and their supplier.

Work closely with Operations, Automation, and Supply chain teams to enable fast execution of assets/ spare parts procurement decisions.

Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness.

Supervise the projects and all maintenance activities.

Plan and track the preventive maintenance schedule.

Knowledge of machine life and when to replace machinery.

Ideal Candidate

 

Qualifications

 

Must have had at least 3 years of experience as a maintenance officer or similar position.

Valid UK driving license.

Knowledge and competency

 

Familiar with plumbing concepts.

Focuses on increasing productivity through introducing smart equipment to decrease manual work.

Experience with maintaining electrical concepts such as wiring, cables, breakers, and walk-in chillers.

Solid HVAC, civil, mechanical, and electrical working knowledge.

Personality

 

A knack for negotiation and networking.

Ability to gather and analyze data.

Solid judgment along with decision-making skills.

Strong leadership capabilities.

Leadership and teamwork skills.
